Discovery spent way too much time with the characters talking about their feelings. When THE SHIP started talking about it's feelings... I was done.
If you look at it through the lens of “it was just people writing a script and having no idea it would become a much-scrutinized cultural icon”…. It makes enough sense.

Aging gracefully. A true beauty.

Right now I smell a bit like a breakfast burrito.

I saw that with no knowledge of Lower Decks. It was an instant favorite. My wife cares little for Star Trek but she sat down and laughed along with me.

I’ve never watched Lower Decks and probably won’t. But, the SNW crossover was one of the most entertaining shows I’ve ever seen. At least it was for me.
@Corgana @bababooey
I watched the first JJ Star Trek movie. It was basically one long Kirk brawl and then they made him captain. It was pathetic.

TOS has a channel on Pluto TV. I watch it most every evening. Shore Leave last night. Metamorphosis tonight. It runs 24/7 but I just watch 1 a day.
@SkepticElliptic @Reva
I was noticing that same thing this week. Hold still!!!
@StillPaisleyCat @tqgibtngo
Pluto streaming service has 2 channels that play nothing but Star Trek every day. The service is free.

I think a lot of people vote Republican because of where they live. It’s what they are taught. Same reasons why they use inches and speak English. I’m guilty of all those things in the past. I never really thought about it. I have always loved Star Trek. It never occurred to me until about 2016 that none of the good guys in that universe are Republicans. Donny opened my eyes to what the Republicans are all about. I’ll never go back.
