  • Did people dislike it compared to the first one? It's got an 88% on rotten tomatoes, and anyone I've talked with about the films prefers the second one.

I agree with you, by the way, I just don't think that's the unpopular take (Ridley's opinion is meaningless at this point).

  • No... that's not true... That's impossible!

  • This episode made me look up the word "insidious."

Not directly though, I first had to get called out by an adult for incorrectly using it to describe the flavor of something else.

  • I would love for you to be right. If you're in the US, though, voter data doesn't seem to support that.

It would be amazing to live in a country where half the populace agreed that my son has the right to simply exist in peace but I don't think we do anymore.

  • Certainly seems you're gonna see yourself as a victim no matter what

  • You are both actively supporting and working to accelerate said genocide. Feel better?

  • I really have to slow down on Armored Core, I thought you were talking about selling everyone mechs for a minute

  • They got my $40 in 2012. I absolutely loved the Wing Commander series; Wing Commander II was an embarrassingly important part of my adolescense, I love space sims, and still had fond enough memories of the name Chris Roberts that I didn't think he'd blatantly lie and steal from me.

How people are still giving these clowns money I have no idea.

  • I voted for Ralph Nader in 2000 and will never make that mistake again.

  • My father's middle name is J. Just the letter. His father's name was JQ, just the letters.

  • Have you ever voted? Like, gone to the voting booth and voted? How about attended a caucus or primary? Because I regularly do, I'm 45, and I'm typically the youngest person in the building.

The US voting base is old as fuck.

  • Tinfoil hats on? Alrighty then:

All these Verizon outages are intentional and part of the plan to invalidate the 2024 election.

We'll see it happen again on and around election day, maybe xitter will go down too.

Whole voting districts in Georgia won't report in, citing system crashes, security breaches, whatever they feel like making up. Republican Secretaries of State will declare the election compromised before vote counting even starts.

Obviously there's also a hurricane and massive flooding, hence the tinfoil hat, but let's not forget where and when we are in history, and that The Business Plot was a real thing.

  • Isn't discord just shittier, proprietary IRC? I'm only on it because my Linux distro's dev uses it for communication for some reason, but from what I can tell, it's just a locked-down IRC client you can buy emojis and shit on.

  • How the fuck is that your only takeaway from that comment? Go play a game or something lol

  • A political science class I attended in the early 2000s focused on terrorism, and the professor described power grids as being a pretty big target in general, but especially for right wing hate groups.

This has always been part of the plan for the Turner Diaries militia weirdos.

  • It's spelled Manchin. OP was criticizing the spelling/bad pun
