    Generally, we know it's bad, but not how bad. I'm assuming it's our generation's version of lead.

    Can't afford to abandon your home and start from scratch in another state? Good luck being homeless.

    There will have to be some systematic changes on a federal level to help this crisis. Either relocating people from high-risk areas, or rethinking the role of private insurance in our lives.

  • Yeah, I'd say stress due to financial hardship and dread due to climate change are primary causes poor mental health, but I don't see politicians doing anything meaningful for these.

  • The article didn't explain it very well, so I'll ask here. The article said mantle plumes are responsible for the lower gravity in the area. Is this because the magma has a lower density than the surrounding mantle?

  • The thing I found that works for me is trying to exercise. Even if I got nothing else done that day, at least I got 15-30 minutes of exercise. Plus, in the long run, it tends to help with your mental health.
