I use the XFCE version, it's around 400 MB idle, fluxbox should be even less I think.
I don't have any idea of who they are, but I don't get it: we're not preemptively defederating from Meta because it would be closed minded to do so (as per your admin decision), while Meta bad behavior is well documented (they've been fined by EU several times already), and we want to preemptively defederate from these people without even knowing how they will actually behave? Why? Shouldn't they be "innocent until proven guilty"?
Sorry for those
It's not your fault :) We know you admins are working really hard to keep the server as stable as possible.
Good job!
I work for a big enterprise, we have RHEL on all our Linux servers save for a few that are SuSe for SAP.
Microsoft Teams is the official communication tool for business where I work, no need to use whatsapp tho a few colleagues use it for fluff, as for personal/family, some of my family use whatsapp but I don't (I use Discord), if we want to talk to each other we use "good old-fashioned" phone calls :D
Thank you for the amazing job, as always! Cloudflare is a solid solution :)
Haha this is amazing :D
Oh didn't know that, thanks!
I agree those arguments have no legal ground, but I don't believe emulators are made with the primary purpose of circumventing protections, it's just naive to think people wouldn't use them for that purpose IMO.
Haha :D English is not my first language, if the wording is not correct or there's a better way of saying it, I welcome any correction :)
Valve then forwarded us the statement from Nintendo's lawyers, and told us that we had to come to an agreement with Nintendo in order to release on Steam.
We all know Nintendo is a bitch and there's nothing illegal in emulators, but Valve's stance looks reasonable to me, it would be serious damage to Steam if they were involved in legal litigation.
The broom mount previously datamined during Patch 10.1.5 now has a source - The mount is an upcoming Trading Post reward. This also means we have our first permanent broom mount!
I know it's fluff but I will love this on my warlock :D
I wonder where is the actual line of what is allowed and what is not on this instance
I'd like to know this too, because banning a community just because they don't want to talk about something - and that apparently offended someone, while allowing other communities free rein over content that could offend someone, makes me confused about how the rules are actually applied.
The community that has been banned wasn't discriminating people either, they were discriminating specific discussions. Where do we draw the line?
The concept of having to compile something yourself is basically foreign to me
There's no need to, what software do you need that you can't find on Mint repositories?
having to basically rely on a built-in app database/store to easily install apps… Kinda stinks to me, and not being able to simply download an installer from a website and having the program, whatever program, up and running reliably within a minute, the concept seems ridiculous
Having an app repository is way more secure than downloading software from random websites, it's also way faster.
But it's fine if you don't like it, each person has its own preferences.
I too believe it could have been resolved with discussion, I'm confused by such a sudden reaction, I just hope there may be things we don't know about it, otherwise it doesn't make sense to me.
I mean, we intend to allow Meta shit here because it's not "open minded" to block them preemptively, then we're being close minded about this.
I agree with you and it's sad to see you're being downvoted for stating something that should be obvious.
I don't like religions in general because I find them incoherent on many aspects, but that's not a good reason to attack them, they're not breaking rules, just ignore them.
Not the summer sale but the Steam fest, I played House Flipper 2 demo, I really enjoyed it and it turned out it was the most played one.
House Flipper is a sort of simulator, the purpose of the game is to buy houses in horrible conditions, renovate them and resell them, there's something oddly satisfying in it, I love it :D
I never used Facebook not Twitter or Instagram, but I was very active on Reddit.
The key to a successful migration, in my opinion, is being involved enough in alternatives that you stop caring about your old mainstream accounts, that doesn't happen in a day but it's an ongoing process.
What I'm doing (in practice), I created my account here when the protest started, I took the time off reddit to search for alternatives to the subs I was in and actively participate in them, after a while I stopped caring about reddit, so much that I unsubbed from everything and I don't even follow its news anymore.
I didn't ditch reddit completely yet because there are a couple of niche subs that are not easily replaceable, so I still check those every now and then, but compared to how active I was before, I'm basically not contributing anything anymore.
It's just a matter of time IMO before those niche subs will grow on the fediverse, I don't know how long it'll take but when it happens I'll be done with reddit forever.
The Augmentation Evoker is doing well, players just don't understand it.
Lots of WoW players don't know what support is apparently.
Old Scholomance is back in Patch 10.1.5, allowing players to farm transmogs and recipes once lost to time! Learn how to unlock the instance in this post.
I love this, hope they do it for all classic dungeons they revamped.
On today's PTR notes Blizzard has revealed that starting with Patch 10.1.5, you will be able to freely trade items and gold directly to any other character in your region!

Welcome back /r/WoW. TL;DR: **[Vote in our ranked-choice poll](https://app.rankedvote.co/rv/o62zj9khd6sormsj9c/vote)**. # What happened - On...
Reddit is forcing mods to reopen subs, as you might know already.
The 2 biggest subs reacted by "invading" r/all with pictures of John Oliver, here's an article about it: Two of the biggest Reddit communities reopened in the funniest way possible.
It would be really fun if r/wow followed suit with Daddy Denathrius (it's an option on the poll).
Happy to see you here :)

The most hilarious cat on the web IMO.
(I wrote this a while ago for r/wow, I thought I'd post it here as well) I've seen this question being asked often since DF release so I thought I'd group all the options in a single post.
- enable tracking of trivial quests
- do not pick up more than one starting quest at the same time, you may be phased out from NPCs and unable to progress, if this happens, abandon all starting quests and pick again the one you want to do
- if you intend to do all quests in old zones, buy a foam sword, it won't kill trivial enemies
Shadowlands
You don't get the quest anymore by zoning in your capital city.
Alliance Go to Stormwind, on the stairs to Stormwind Keep there's a group of death knights with Darion Mograine among them, he will give you the starting quest Shadowlands: A Chilling Summons.
Horde Go to Orgrimmar, in front of Grommash Hold (Valley of Strenght) there's a group of death knights with Darion Mograine among them, he will give you the starting quest Shadowlands: A Chilling Summons.
BFA
Alliance/Horde The starting quest is given by an NPC standing next to a Hero/Command Board in Stormwind/Orgrimmar (not the board itself).
The quest is Tides of War for Alliance and Mission Statement for Horde.
Legion
Alliance/Horde Go to Stormwind/Orgrimmar, click on a Hero/Command Board and choose Broken Shore/Fighting the Legion.
If the option is not there, pick up all irrelevant quests until "Broken Shore/Fighting the Legion" shows up, pick that and abandon the rest.
WoD
Alliance/Horde Go to Stormwind/Orgrimmar, click on a Hero/Command Board and choose Tanaan Jungle/Enter the Dark Portal.
If the option is not there, travel to the Dark Portal in Blasted Lands, talk to Kadghar and start the quest "The Dark Portal".
Fast travel to Blasted Lands Talk to "Vanguard Battlemage". For Alliance she's at the entrance of the Mage Tower in Stormwind, for Horde she's on the bottom floor of the portal room in Orgrimmar next to the portal to Warspear, the option is: I must report to the Dark Portal, it will teleport you directly next to Kadghar (you need the quest from the Hero/Command board for this option to show up).
If for some reason the area is phased to TBC, you'll end up in Outland, you can't go back through the Dark Portal but there are portals in front of you to go back to Stormwind/Orgrimmar.
Travel to Blasted Lands by other means (see bullets below) then look for a chat bubble icon on the upper part of the map, that's Zidormi, go talk to her and she'll make you change phase. Alternatevely you can go back to a Hero/Command board, pick up all irrelevant quests until "Tanaan Jungle/Enter the Dark Portal" shows up, pick that and abandon the rest.
- Stormwind: take the flightmaster to The Harborage (Swamp of Sorrows) then fly south to Zidormi.
- Orgrimmar: take the zeppeling to Grom'gol (Stranglethorn) then either fly yourself to Blasted Lands or take the flightmaster to Stonard (Swamp of Sorrows) then fly to Zidormi.
MoP
Alliance Go to Stormwind Keep, next to the throne talk to Grand Admiral Jes-Tereth and pick up the quest The King's Command.
If she doesn't have the quest, go to a Hero Board and pick up all irrelevant quests until "The Jade Forest/Report to Stormwind Keep" shows up, pick that and abandon the rest.
Horde Go inside Grommash Hold in Orgrimmar (Valley of Strenght), talk to General Nazgrim and pick up the quest The Art of War.
If he doesn't offer you the quest, go to a Hero Board and pick up all irrelevant quests until "The Jade Forest/Report to Grommash Hold" shows up, pick that and abandon the rest.
Previous xpacs
There are no intro scenarios, just travel there and start questing.
Note for Outland: Blasted Lands is usually phased to the WoD version, in that case go talk to Zidormi (chat bubble icon on the map) and choose "show me blasted lands before the invasion" then you can enter the Dark Portal to go to Outland. To fast travel there you can talk to "Honor Hold Mage" at the entrance of the Stormwind Mage Tower for Alliance, and "Thrallmar Mage" on the lower floor of the Orgrimmar portal room next to the portal to Shattrath for Horde.
