I don't know much but I've heard that landfills are so dense and thick that there is not enough oxygen to break down organic matter like did waste. I don't know for sure about that and I don't know how it applies to cardboard but that's what I've heard and read and seen videos about.
I hope someone with more knowledge could give a better informed comment.

To add to everyone else, I moved from Kodi to Jellyfin and it was a game changer for my home server solution. (I run the server off of my gaming PC)
If you're a real nerd about it and can get in BakaBt has crazy big full books. Manga and light novels. We're taking Gigabytes for single volumes.... They look very nice though.
Otherwise Tachiyomi is great and usually the stuff online is high enough quality to satisfy me and had kept me from running my own Ubookquity server.
RIP your legs, I have freaking trunks. It's stupid how big they are, I can't get both hands around just above my knees. I would rather have chicken legs.
Just ride a fixie, every hill is strength training.
I hate being in a gym, all those people around, not being able to see outside, stationary...yuck.
I picked up cycling and try and ride my bike frequently. I used to be much more into it, but that was also as a stoner kid and it was a great way to get out some energy before work and calm down after work.
Now it's more of an effort but I like to reward myself with a beer and some food. I try to ride about 14 miles every other day. It takes an hour or two at my pace but I can spend that time thinking, listening to music or a podcast. It can be really meditative and it feels good to have my muscles tired.
This is why I always have the high beans on when driving my 90's car. I've got to fit in with the cool kids (oh and be able to see the road despite the blinding lights coming at me.)
No no no, they are fuzzy little stoner bunnies! Viscacha wake up, get some food and then sit in the sun and take a nap. They are fabulous and everyone should aspire to be like the viscacha!
Another former Relay user here. I am using mostly WefWef on my phone. It's not perfect, in many ways but it feels pretty good all around. If that's not working or something else is going on I typically look at Jerboa, Connect, Thunder, then Summit. In that order. I just don't know what to do otherwise.
There is nothing to really fill the gap left by Relay, not yet, but I'm finding WefWef to have most of the features that I am looking for and to be the most stable and usable.
Surprise and or shock? Wariness? They look like cartoon eyes on like Wile-E-Coyote or Tom when they realize they're still holding the dynamite. 🧨 👀 😨
It was a case of: Lemmy.ml isn't accepting new users atm BeeHaw requires me to tell them why I'm a good user So does this other instance... Why do I have to justify myself!? Hey, Lemmy.world let's me just sign up! Perfect!
And that was how I chose an instance. Thank you for joining story got with Valek
Sorry, I didn't see this reply until now. I mean the button for whatever the post is linking to. Pictures, other communities, or external links. I'm right handed and the button is on the left. This makes it a big reach for my thumb to reach across my screen and I'm less likely to click on things or use your app because of it. I know it's a small complaint but it's all about feel, especially when it comes to apps, that's why reddit had so many!
They are ice and snow catcher things. They come in different forms, sometimes bars and these new versions in your picture. They hold the snow and ice in place during the winter.
Ice and snow will build up and weigh a ton, sometimes literally, and that weight falling on someone could easily kill them. With this system you are far less likely to have the entire sheet come down and it lets the cold stuff melt on the roof instead on people's heads.
I'm replying on Connect for Lemmy. I just looked at your app and it's super dope but I've got to say the one thing that throws me off is the button for the link is on the far side from my finger. I also like swiping to reply and vote and nonsense like that and your app doesn't have it.
Take your time however and implement things well and I'll keep it in mind. My favorite app for Reddit was Relay I think I will be looking for an app until I get something similar or exactly the same.
