Here ya go: The ruling is against universal injunctions. Any existing injunctions stay and any future plaintiffs can block the order as well. It just can’t be stopped across the country from any existing or future rulings. Unless of course the Supreme Court ends up saying it’s unconstitutional.

Yup. That’s how it is currently. Doesn’t have to be state by state either. Even more granular. Individuals who file suit and win can be immune to it, but other in the same state who have not filed suit could be vulnerable to it. The Supreme Court has yet to make a ruling on whether the order is unconstitutional or not.

Then states cities and organizations sued across three cases and courts issued universal injunctions. Trump said “wah! Help me puppet kourt!” Then the Supreme Court was like, “be still mein führer. We will not allow these injunctions to apply to the entire nation. Only to those who have sued.”

They haven’t decided on the legality of it yet. They just decided that courts cannot issue universal injunctions. They can only stop it at a case by case level for those who are suing. If they decide it’s unconstitutional, then it’ll have to stop nationally, but a lot of damage can be done before then. I think they’ll decide in October…
Yup. It all starts with how we’re raising boys and what societal norms they’re expected to conform to. The main avenues that we give men to receive approval are limited to physical strength and violence, emotional toughness, sexual prowess/penis size, financial and social power and logical aptitude (which is waning as of late).
If you don’t meet these standards then you have to work hard to internally accept yourself and two of the skills men aren’t taught to practice are emotional intelligence and community building, hence the lonely male epidemic and resulting fits of violence.
We need to raise boys differently, and build a society where they have opportunities to build self-worth and have a community to lean on without feeling ashamed to need emotional support.
All that to say that today we have an epidemic of violent, emotionally inept, unsuccessful men.

This is an interesting comparison because the wire monkey study suggests that we need physical contact from a caregiver more than nourishment. In the case of AI, we’re getting some sort of mental nourishment from the AI, but no physical contact.
The solution? AI tools integrated into either hyper-realistic humanoid robots, or human robo-puppets.
Or, we could also leverage our advancing technology to support the working class by implementing UBI through a reduction in production costs and an evening out of wealth and resources.

Brush weather stripping to quiet cross bar noise/whistle
I’ve been trying to fix a whistle from a pair of aerodynamic (plane wing shape) cross bars for almost a month now. I tried the rope wrap, taped up all the holes, different positions and nothing worked. Finally I got the idea of putting a strip of fuzzy weather stripping along the bottom edge to brush the air below before meeting the air above the bar. Turns out it works really well! There’s still a very subtle whistle, but it’s amazing how well it works and for how cheap it is. Hope it’ll last. Good luck!

Follow-Up - Alignment Off - 2019 Atlas
Hi again. I took the car back to the dealer to re-align and the wheel is still turned to the left a little when driving straight. The tech showed me the numbers and that they leveled the steering wheel.
Is something wrong with my suspension, or should I try alignment somewhere else? Just live with it?
EDIT: when I let the wheel go and I’m going straight on a stretch of road the wheel is off center by about 10 degrees.
EDIT EDIT: called the dealership and they said alignment doesn’t include resetting wheel sensor via obd tool. Crazy.
Why can't any shop/dealership I've been to do an alignment right?
I’ve been to smaller shops, I’ve been to dealerships, and the only time I’ve ever gotten an alignment done right was after I complained to a general manager. I know alignments are hard with the laser machines. It shouldn’t be a problem, right? Are they just being lazy? I hate having to go back to the shop and wait another 2 to 4 hours to get something done that should’ve been done right the first time.

Diagnosing A/C Failure When Idling
2001 QX4
It has been 90+ degrees where I live and when idling for more than 10-15 min, the A/C stops blowing cold and is humid. Works great otherwise when ambient temps are low and car is moving. The Freon pressure is good. The Enser is old and has some dents, but has been cleaned and looks to be getting airflow. How can I tell what is wrong? Replace the radiator fan clutch? Condenser? Something else? Should also note that the engine temp gets high when on long stretches up uphill highway, but I think that is somewhat normal for an old car, no? Thanks!

Big guys like Berkshire have so much leverage in the market. They can sell a huge chunk of stocks causing chaos and a huge drop in price, then buy low and profit. The stock market isn’t fair to regular investors. You’re at the mercy of these big firms.

Rear LSD and open front. When I’m crossed up do I use 4hi or 4lo when trying to brake and gas at the same time? Or doesn’t matter?
New rotors and semi metallic pads. Rubbing/vibratong noise when coming to complete stop and when lifting off pedal from complete stop.
Just replaced the rotors and new pads. The pads are semi metallic. I’ve noticed a brief rubbing sound when coming to a complete stop and when lifting my foot off the brake pedal from a stop. Is this normal for metallic pads?

Placard on car says 26 psi cold
Tires say 32-49
Rear tire is set to 27 cold
Does this look under-inflated? What’s the lowest I should go?
Put single new tire in front open diff or rear weak LSD (~60lb breakaway)
2001 Infiniti QX4 Automatic 4WD with RWD bias (4WD only kicks in when rear slips)
Had to replace one tire. Should new tire be on front with open diff or rear with LSD rated around 60lb breakaway torque?
The rest of the tires have about 60% tread left. Less than 15k miles on them.
I’m thinking front but want to make sure it won’t cause pulling to one side or mess something up.
