  • Two cyclists nose to tail with a small gap ends up meaning that the car behind has to overtake the effective length of a truck to pass them both. Two cyclists riding abreat means they only need to overtake a car length

    Interesting Tram Livery
  • I've found it to be weirdly effective on me. I don't live in Melbourne anymore but still think about the rhino stat when I see trams in other places

Need advice on new wireless controllers for couch coop
  • I've been using the 8bitdo ultimate but I've had a few issues with it over time. For starters the rb button sticks, which I've been able to work around using the back paddles, but it's still not ideal. Recently though I've had a few games misinterpret the buttons, playing through animal well the a and b buttons performed the same action so I had to get my old 360 wired controller out to play through it. Looking in the software (only available on phone and windows, no Linux support as far as I'm aware) showed no mismatch of setup or anything so no idea what's happening there. Playing death stranding recently also had issues, it was as if it was trying to switch inputs from the controller to m+kb constantly.

Scottish Water dumps sewage on doorsteps of party leaders for 18,000 hours
  • Unfortunately I don't think it was done deliberately in protest, I think it's just more incompetence and greed from the water services. I read the title that way as well but the article is talking about the amount of spillages theyve had into the rivers

    Self-reflection is hot
  • Isn't that literally the point of debate though? Like it's not just a discussion, it's about arguing your case the best? That's how I've understood it anyway

[Discussion] What's your "this has bothered me for way too long" movie moment?
  • To generalise it a bit, this could be applied to helmets/masks required but not worn in films, war films and tv for example. In dune the main actors barely had their masks on, but the extras could be bundled up cause we don't need to see their faces

why are you using your launcher?
  • I've settled on Niagara for a while now, largely because of the search and gesture to get there. Frequent apps are on the home screen, messaging etc, then anything else is swipe and type

  • I'm having issues logging into the lemdroid instance since it updated. Not sure if the issue is with the app or the site but posting to see if anyone else is having issues?
