I feel like that’s only partly true. Most of the AI features were limited to US English, and wouldn’t be released in other languages (yet) anyway. I don’t quite get how iPhone Mirroring or SharePlay are affected by the DMA either. They are right though, we don’t know yet how different countries will implement legislation based on this. That’s how the EU works though, so as long as there are no laws prohibiting a feature, I assume they could release it but would need to make changes if laws are created. That’s what they did with 3rd party app stores. So, I guess weird flex by Apple PR.
At home I name all devices after characters or planets from Ready Player One and Two. WadeWatts, parzival, daito, shoto, halliday and OASIS are my PC, laptop, phone, router, NAS or WiFi. I also have servers named ir0k, art3mis or halcydonia. I remember working at a science project years ago with lots of workstations, where we named them all after James Bond villains like Stromberg, Goldfinger or Scaramanga. Eventually we ran out of villains and had to number them. 🙃
I’d give it go.
iPad Pro (11 inch, 2nd gen) iPadOS 16.6 No keyboard
I always tried to have my most used apps up front and upgraded to folders, once that was a thing. So far it still works for me, all else goes via spotlight. Rarely do I see page two. 🙃
Yeah, I agree with the other posters. Seems to be a good deal and we don’t know yet what m3 will change, but it might not be that much. I just got a Mac mini M2Pro replacing my mini with M1, mainly because of more usb-c ports and a bigger ssd, not because I‘d need the extra power. Just like with the iPads and iPhones I feel like you get enough power with each generation to last at least two or three years, if not more.
