OneDrive disguising the "Buy now" button using the Cancel color scheme
  • Yeah, usually the button they want you to press is the one that's colored.

If they want you to buy something, why make that the colorless one?

    It's their legacy
  • The US is wealthier than it was in the previous generation according to the GDP.

So why should anyone accept getting less?

    Comfort shows without transphobic jokes?
  • TNG had some pretty misogynistic and racist bits, though.

Did anything particular stand out? It's been a couple years since watching the show, but I always felt they celebrated diversity.

Always remember, both sides are just as bad!
  • Why is it harder for a black man to buy a house today, when he is theoretically richer because he doesn't have to give up his money to the man you described?

In that same time GDP produced per hour worked is up over 4x what it was then. There should be more to go around for everyone.

As for women in the workforce, having twice the income earners should double the household income. But two people can't buy what one person could back then.

Muslim Americans in swing states launch anti-Biden campaign
  • Islam puts a lot of emphasis on patriarchy.

Sons inherit twice what a daughter does, the father is the head of the family, and the Quran specifically quotes Muhammed saying most of the people in hell are women.

  • Andrew Tate isn't the only far right figure to praise Islam for far-right reasons.

There's a right wing militia that uses the English translation of "Al Qaeda" for it's name.

Incels forums and 4chan make memes about "Islam is right".

  • It's not about the work, they would pay devs to do the work and it would cost them less than this mess.

They want to force people into analytics, and that's very hard with third party apps, and they'll never convince everyone to use theirs because of analytics.

So they give people 1 choice.

Bethesda Is Responding to Negative Reviews of Starfield on Steam
  • I like Bethesda games, but it has to be said: loading screens inside small cities, and fast travelling to/from space kill immersion.

Skyrim was a Bethesda game, and you didn't need to load different parts of the city.

Fallout didn't have it this bad either.

They are regressing, when other games are making progress.

  • I do play those parts, I know it's there, and I'm asking how that somehow explains why their broken engine can't render the whole city when doing that is clearly possible on normal hardware.

  • How is that relevant when I'm exploring a barren planet, just gathering resources? That's exactly what NMS has, without loading screens.

Cyberpunk has a story and voice acting- but no loading screens like Starfield's cities. That's despite Night City being a much larger city than New Atlantis.

  • How does being a different game justify having loading screens between barren parts of the planet gathering resources? That's the same activity people do in those areas in No Man's Sky.

Cyberpunk doesn't have any loading screen inside the city, but Starfield has multiple for cities that are a fraction of the size.

The whole game is broken up constantly by this, and having a story doesn't make that necessary.
