my first dream about work
my instructor and i were possum catchers in the back of a van (lol), and his hand was bruised because of something with the cages. so i had to work with the possum cages. i pointed at a possum with its back turned to us and said "it's kind of cute!" and for a moment i felt that my instructor disapproved... then the possum turned around and screamed and i was so scared i woke up
interpretation: my instructor was handing off more responsibility to me, and when i expressed affection for our clients, he felt that i shouldn't because they're wild animals and they're dangerous. then i realized he was right and got scared lol
In a fight, represented by a 2D grid of icons, like Candy Crush, I happened on a combination of potions which kept combining into more powerful potions, getting more and more powerful, until the game began spoiling its own ending. Potion, to person, to spell, to space station, the icon kept getting more powerful until I could see what the endgame looked like. I was excited but dismayed
Group living/school situation, I'm older than them so not very conerned, but they're all very preppy and cliquey. There's a smaller group wearing suit and tie that all sit together. At one point I'm on the "welcome aboard" video motioning with my head to my mom to come inside the store. Kids are laughing. One mentions my "tunic" (hoodie?) and I make fun of her because I'm standing right behind her and she didn't know what to call it. Then I'm in my underwear looking for pants. I find a friend. Someone is getting blood or plasma drawn, there's so much of it in a tube. A steam machine in the gym pumps tubes full of petroleum jelly.!
I dreamt, there's a new EU law, that people can't choose what amount of an item they can put in their online shopping carts. It had to be random, but people would only ever pay a fixed price for any amount.
Also, I worked at some company with lots of white and grey interior. They planned to have an office party. I didn't wanna go, but a cute female colleague sat on my desk asked me if I even answer my private phone. I said "yes, if I know the number." She gave me her number. When I was about to go home, she called and convinced me to stay for the party.
I wanted to close the windows in the office to go to the party, but it was windy and the white transparent and blue opaque curtains were closed and the wind had them flapping around, so it was complicated to get them out of the way.
Finally I went to the party, but it was almost over. A male colleague with a nacho cowboy hat gave me a ginger ale. I patted him on the back and we sat at a white conference table. It had blue and yellow paper streamers over it and an almost empty snack bowl.
On my smartphone, I started online shopping for chat bots for my server. I put a random amount into the shopping basket, as per the EU law. It was an insane amount and small price. I laughed. That was like winning a lottery, so I put another random amount in the basket. The number wasn't so high, but it was still cheap overvall.
The cute girl met with me on the party. She wanted me to take her home. We took public transportation. On a big train station she suddenly panicked. We had to run from something. Her older sister was suddenly there out of nowhere. She seemed tough, strong and heroic. There was a conveyor belt bridge for people at the station. The sister hit its big red emergency halt button as we rushed, ducked past where the people would go off, so someone chasing us wouldn't see us.
I woke up.
I was excited to see her finally use her ability, but she just floated around inside the back of the car with a dagger in her hand while music played. It was disappointing. Everyone else was hyped
Later there was a big black panther who loved me and wanted to play. He was like a big puppy. I was terrified.
A mouse creature trapped under some branches? or rocks? that we wanted to catch. The guy in charge was covered with caustic black ink; he pointed to one of the jets to warn me that the mouse was dangerous.
They were chanting at me "your brother is dead" but I knew they were lying, I woke up making fun of them to their faces. "Oh noooo" dramatically, like I was calling them on their bullshit. Awful start to the day.
It's night and I'm walking on the street with other people, frustrated and scared. I'm responsible for crafting enemies and I don't want to create something I can't beat. The people walking with me are enemies too. I'm giving out chocolates (Rollo?) which has something to do with it.
Three decapitated but living people had to be put into a freezer. Cryostasis maybe. I was in agony, they are going to be so cold, the metal will burn them where it touches their skin, their eyes will freeze, should I get goggles? I realized my worrying was just delaying everything and making it worse for them. I had to somehow just get it done
Last night I was a character in a dwarf fortress game? I collected ambergris and travelled on a cart through a festival. I made a joke of our combat logs and wrote a line into it, my singing axe turned an enemy into an axe sheath. Earlier I [c]laimed a bunch of tiles from an abandoned fort and they started flickering as they rendered to the screen
