I had the pleasure of designing this logo and emotes for a client, featuring this cute character with balls of yarn to represent their crochet business

A logo I designed for an indie game studio named Foxdrift Studios
The client had a vague idea that revolved around a fox sitting on a leaf. Their next games will be more spooky in nature (in a cute and whimsical way), so they would like the design to reflect that.
I came up with a few concepts and they really liked this one, since it incorporated everything that they were looking for.

I designed this logo and splash screen for a client's game called Grass
It's a cozy game with Palm Spring vibes where you mow grass with a mower.
They wanted something simpler and more artsy based on the screenshots that they provided.

A set of graphics I designed for AndyCatastrophe, a Twitch streamer, a 30 year old gaymer who just wants to have a good time, and play spooky games
A set of graphics I designed for AndyCatastrophe, a Twitch streamer, a 30 year old gaymer who just wants to have a good time, and play spooky games.
As such, he wanted the graphics to feature a spooky but not scary cat. Along the way he suggested adding a potion bottle with green liquid and smoke for a more 'witchy' vibe, which I then incorporated into the emotes and panels as well.

Mirror / parallel - squeeze / transform path is it possible ?
Hi,
Is it possible with Inkscape to squeeze a shape in a mirror way (sorry I don't know how to phrase it better) \
Here a gif from a rasterize/pixel editor with what I'm looking for

Script to export a SVG to PNG with a certain width. IDK why the exported picture has not this size.
The issue is that if my script is correctly done, a SVG is supposed to be exported to PNG with a fixed width, the script seems to work fine, but when I check it out again on Inkscape*, it shows me the original SVG size, not the resized PNG exported picture.
Here's a folder with the script and a random SVG I'm using for testing.
*To check the size of the picture in Inkscape, we need to change the units in the top bar, and then see the numbers that shows. The screenshot shows a 14,79 cm x 9,85 cm, instead of 10,5 cm x 6,9 cm.
Button Press Graphics, a new channel with Inkscape tutorials
I'm suscribed to some digital art channels (for Inkscape "Logos by Nick" is my favourite), and some days ago the YouTube algorithm did its job and reccommended me "Button Press Graphics", and I'm enjoying every video even if I already know what he is explaining. It has a few videos ans subscribers, but I think (and wish) it will become bigger.
Meta: Mood on bots?
I'm curious how the (non-bot!) subscribers to this community feel about the bot posts here.
Personally, I'm not entirely comfortable with posts to pictures that give me no real sense of who created the image or how.
What do the rest of you think? Are there rules we should make explicit?
Inkscapes new update 1.3 now available
Inkscape 1.3 is the latest major Inkscape release that brings you many fresh new features and new functionality.
Logos by Nick power user giving a quick demo of new features.
So good Inkscape is free to use.
Visualizing headline for The New Oil
I suppose, it's not too complex and the headline of The New Oil website is delivered through this vector image in a good capacity. I really like Inkscape for all my minimalistic artwork. To understand the context, refer to issue and Penpot prototype.
The headline is "The Beginner's Guide to Data Privacy & Cybersecurity". At first, I just tried a bare oil drop representing the logo of TNO. This drop can be easily done with Path tool and mirrored through Path Effects or manually. I placed duotone gradients on both fill and stroke in such a fashion that gradients don't mix together (almost perpendicular directions).

If you don't know Logos by Nick on YouTube, you want to check out what he does. I'm not associated with the creator, but I've learned more about Inkscape from the tutorials there than anyplace else.
