Nintendo
One day late, didn't know where the week go.
Played some Trails in the Sky: SC. Got stuck at the boss of Chapter 2. It's pretty tough. Though I have couple of ideas that can help, but sudden difficulty spikes like this annoy me a lot, so taking a small break from it.
Started Spider-man 2 on PS5. After playing and dropping Batman: Arkham Knight, I needed play something similar but not as slow, so got Spider-man 2. Have played a few hours and loving every minute of it. From combat to traversal to story. Great game!
Also started WWE 2K24. Haven't played a wrestling game in a very long time, but since I got it for "free" as PS+ monthly game, gave it a try. Having tons of fun with it.
On Switch, most of the time was spent with the NSO Playtest thingy, and some Picross S4 in-between. I was stuck at one Picross puzzle (P-133) from a long time (and same puzzle in Mega-Picross), so wasn't playing it much. Finally looked up a video online (watched a video instead of turning on assists, to figure out how to solve it, instead of just getting the solution), basically just had to do a wee bit of brute force thingy to check possible values 3-4 moves ahead to get couple of invalid positions, after that it was simple enough. Just have last page of Picross and MegaPicross remaining now, and then 4/5 extra-big Extra puzzles. So, should be finishing it soon.
That's all from me, what about all of you? What have you been playing
Well, unlike my plan to return to Dragon Quest XI, I wanted to play another action game, so started Nioh. The game is even more difficult than Demon's Souls, but I am really enjoying it.
What about all of you? What have you been playing?

If you have missed it, Creature Inc and Dena has released TCG Pocket, a new TCG app that is designed like a typical gacha game, you pull 5 cards every 12h or you could pay. I think the app and especially the new card design look good. I think it's a nice app for the crowd, casual collect some of the cards. Sadly the battle system got changed, and doesn't got better. They rediced the amount of points required to win for shorter battles and changed the energy System. I think it's balanced quite bad, but even worse, it's not the oroginal TCG game people play in tournaments.
I comparison there is TCG live, a horrible buggy app that is available for Windows, mac, Android and IOS. So has a better compability to different Systems, which is good. Opening that service, i just think it's confusing, how do you get cards, you already have a lot pre build decks and i guess you get cards by playing with the battle pass. But i think at least, you play the real TCG game, with original rules.
I don't understand why the Pokemon Company has created two servives, Creature inc is involved im both. Both services lack in different features. I would just like to play the TCG game online but both services are not fun enough for me.

Anyone having trouble paying digital games with credit card? I’m from Colombia and have 2 accounts. One in USA and one in Colombia. I used my credit card in both. But now, the Colombian store won’t allow me to buy games. And my credit card is from Colombia. The error code said that maybe that’s the problem, that my credit card is not from the region.

Had a pretty busy week, didn't really play much.
Finished Dust: An Elysian Tale, it was somewhere around 60% at the end. The game isn't great, at least from today's standard, but it's still not a bad game.
Also, while it has metroidvania elements, you don't really need to go back for anything, other than collectibles. So, not a metroidvania, as far as I am concerned. On plus side, not much backtracking!
Started Batman: Arkham Knight, it has been on my backlog for a long time, played it for an hour or so, but couldn't get into it, so dropped it.
Biggest issue I believe is that I was in a mood for a beat 'em up-ish game, and I remembered Batman's combat from Arkham Asylum and City, but I guess I had forgotten that otherwise it's a pretty slow game. You have to hide, and slowly and methodically take down enemies, then all the detective parts with problem solving.
Another issue was the Batmobile, I couldn't get hang of it. In one of the starting mission you have to get it on some rooftop to power up something, my car fell down 4-5 times. It was so frustrating. Not to mention the Riddler challenge.
Didn't get to play Trails in the Sky: SC or Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout this week. I wasn't expecting it, but had a slight hope to finish them before Mario + Luigi Brothership release, but that doesn't seem even a remote possibility now. Which means I won't be getting Mario + Luigi on launch.
That's all from me, what about all of you? What have you been playing

I'd say the fact that we see the Nintendo logo instead of the Nintendo Switch logo at the end of the video means something... Also the eyes on top of the Nintendo logo at the end are very similar to Cappy's eyes in Super Mario Odyssey. And they just show up from the left and stand on the logo, looking at you...

Didn't know enemies could fall in the holes made by moles. I did often throw them off high places though.
