On the plus side, the uranium-235 cookies will probably stay warm a lot longer than the others.
After WotC overprinted cards, they essentially promised not to reprint certain ones. I think it’s a dumb decision, but they’ve annoyingly stuck to it
WotC goes out of its way to avoid upsetting the used market/card arbitrage people. If they did a reprint of Black Lotus, the howl of anger from those folks would shake the Earth from its orbit.
"Red 5, standing by."
"Chirp chirp, chirp chirp!"
Why thank you! That's very kind of...
Wait a minute.
And yet the Sixth Doctor was never committed in spite of his fashion choices.
I love them all of course, but mouse is my favorite 🐁
This is a good way to note which of your ports are fully functional.
"Bah gawd, that's daddy's music!"
Data-GPT: "If you are going to lunch, I recommend asking the replicator for a pizza with foraged mushrooms and extra glue."
"I hope it comforts you to know Doctor, that I am a product of a ego-maniacal, narcissistic rogue scientist rather than a profit motivated corporation."
Bike theft is such a problem where I live I've been very hesitant to get another one. If they can't get the whole bike, they'll wrench off tires/seats, etc. My town might be an outlier, but I wonder how other people deal with this kind of thing when their bike is their primary form of transport.
If not a podcast, then at least a video shot in portrait mode, alone in the cockpit of a shuttle craft because the rest of their house can't stand listening to their crap.
More like "Crappy Bird" right?
WHAT YOU SAY?!
I know it's not a solution, but the libraries where I live provide water, shelter, bathrooms, and outlets to charge a phone when they're open. They keep longer hours and serve as cooling/heating centers during heatwaves and cold snaps, and host agents from a number of supportive services a couple of days a week. I know it's not their job, and that there should be dedicated, fully funded solutions for these things, but some library systems are trying very hard to meet people's needs where other government services aren't.
And if your library provides access to Hoopla, there's also free movies and manga.
If this were the movie version of Bane, his dialog would read as, "Mmmph mm-mmph, mmph."
Now introducing UbuRecall! Do you remember what you clicked on yesterday?
We do!
It will support PS/2 keyboards and VGA. Intended to be a learning platform for RISC-V coding, it's only got 2k of RAM. (I tried finding a 3rd party source for this announcement but I struck out, so I'm linking the actual olimex webpage. Not affiliated with them, just thought this looked neat.)

Tell your late spouse's family how you really feel. Tell them with a divorce.
Posthumous divorce’s technical but less popular name is a “notification of marital relationship termination” (inzoku kankei shuryo todoke) which means one is officially severing ties with the family of a deceased spouse. What’s particularly strange about it is that it doesn’t really serve any purpose for a vast majority of people aside from a government-approved official statement that someone finds their in-laws unbearable.
