Meta now offers Quest 3 refurbished, priced at $450 for the 128GB storage model or $580 for 512GB.
I might buy one if Quest is no longer owned by Meta.
I am not going to pay that zucker.

2There are some smart people that are making the rift-s work on linux using Monado. As I currently understand it, good 6dof controller tracking is the final roadblock to it being fully usable. LVRA wiki has more information about this kind of stuff.

4You definitely will. This requirement effectively bricked my OG Quest since I refuse to have anything to do with Facebook. I really need to look into side-loading and/or firmware projects around it. They broke the promise that they would never require a Facebook account and somehow the justice system said, yeah, but this is a Meta account, so it's all cool...
