As of 5:50 PM Pacific the Xbox Status page was updated to say All Clear.

Just after the PSN outage yesterday... 🤔
- The other article I linked here in the comments says they've heard rumors it was a DDoS attack. Nothing about potential links, but I have seen the PlayStation thing all over social media posts about it.
  
  I never understand why people DDoS. Like what are you getting out of it other then being a prick? How sad do you have to be to do this kinda shit for fun?
