Depends on the game. Strategy games, simulations, and shooters work well on KB&M. Driving, action games, and fighting games work well on controller. Some games like GTA 5 and Ghost Recon Wildlands I use both. KB&M for running around on foot and shooting, controller for driving/flying.
What a narrow view. Totally depends on the game for me, I'm not playing a racing game or a platformer on mouse and keyboard, and I'm not playing a shooter or MMO with a controller. Also, show me how good you are at World of Warcraft or StarCraft with a controller, lol.
Speaking of MMOs on a controller. FF14 actually has some solid controller support. There’s a lot of people that have completed the more difficult raids only using a controller.
Disagree. Keyboard is much more precise, and quick to react. Like, in Hollow Knight, if you have to change direction, it's much quicker to stop pressing right and start pressing left than move the stick to the other side
You don't have a finger dedicated to each button on the d-pad tbf. It's still considerably slower, but I would prefer a controller for most 2D games in general.
Depends on the game I think. Some games hurt my index finger if I try to play on m&k. It’s all about having a good economy of motion, regardless of the control method
Go to your next media store and try different controller sizes and joystick layouts, i personaly find my wrists to hurt very much after using a keyboard, but i can understand for some hands how it can hurt to use a controller, i have large hands.
