This series started as an [adultswim] short called Scavengers. "Reign" was added afterward to make it distinct from what was effectively the pilot, which had a more minimalist approach but featured the same themes that were featured throughout the series.
Loved both. Definitely recommend the Scavengers pilot AFTER the main series Scavengers Reign though.
3Also liked both but liked the series better, which is not surprising as it was a much bigger project, so they could polish it much more.
