people don't like to acknowledge it, but what happens in the state has a knock on effect here in the EU. It empowers our rightwing fucks to steal the same tactics that worked in the US and start them here

That means we'll always be behind as those tactics need time to simmer but the news already helps by reporting on what happens over there, reactionaries take that and run with it. They tried that in my country recently with the drag stuff, thankfully their protest failed
