6HoD is good, it's just not nearly what peak Game of Thrones was. It's a large shadow to live under.
8Some enjoy one but not the other.
Both shows have their faults. I watch both, Ring for the production value and House for the better writing.
House really dragged on in most of season 2 but ended good. Season 1 of Ring fell on it's face with the whole "twist" ending that could only have surprised a Labrador with ADHD.

I have never watched any of the house of the dragon series or the previous show. I have watched some of the rings of power and enjoyed what I saw.
5I liked it better than most did. It was okay enough, but it was buildup with no payoff. I don't generally accept edging from my TV series, but I knew this one was coming back for a second season.
