11Yep, people were able to upgrade their old macbooks 2011 with 16 gigs of ram and pop in a SSD which led delaying it ending up in a landfill sooner. Imagine if those old Macbooks had gone with the philosophy of non upgradeable storage and ram like the current shift of modern day tech.
