Seen autoclaves used for aircraft parts construction. Massive.
22ReplyWhy do aircraft parts need to be sterile?
5ReplyIt’s not for it to be sterile, it’s to manufacture composite parts. They get vacuum bagged, then put into the autoclave and heated under pressure to bond all the layers extremely tightly.
10ReplyFor airborne contagions. Next question.
6ReplyIt is more for heat treatment of the metal after forming it, or for coatings that require it.
