Ich denk drüber nach, wenn ich später in den SUV wechsel, die 500m zum Metzger überwinde, um dann im Parkverbot haltend 300gr Tartar für den Chihuahua zu kaufen.
Beim Fahrrad kann es durchaus Sinn ergeben. wenn ich meine Waden 30 Minuten bei 200 Watt strapazieren will, dann wird das bei der Verkehrsführung in meiner Stadt schwer. Und auf dem Radwanderweg sind auch ältere Leute und Familien mit Kindern unterwegs.
Ich frage mich da eher, warum muss man so komisch präzise und maschinengesteuert trainieren?
Leistungssportler mal ausgenommen, würde ich schon denken, dass es viel schöner ist, einfach mal 2h nach Feierabend durchs Umland zu fahren. Ja, da muss man mal abbremsen und hat nicht immer peak-efficiency, aber man ist draußen, man kann mit der Zeit die Umgebung kennenlernen und man sieht wesentlich coolere Tiere.
Ich kann’s verstehen. Eine Mitgliedschaft ist billiger, als sich so ein (mäßig wertiges) Teil selbst zu kaufen. Abgesehen davon, dass ich mir das echt nervig vorstelle, unter jemandem zu wohnen, der sich regelmäßig auf ein Laufband stellt.
Warum nicht an der frischen Luft laufen? Gerade am Anfang ist man so schnell an seiner körperlichen Leistungsfähigkeit, dass man sich den anderen nicht als Verkehrsteilnehmer zumuten will. In besserem Trainingszustand mag das gehen, aber auch da hat man das Problem der fehlenden Vergleichbarkeit. Man will ja ungefähr überwachen, wie sich die Leistungsfähigkeit steigert. Es ist aber sauschwer nach Daumenmaß eine konsistente Geschwindigkeit hinzukriegen.
Ok, vielleicht hätte ich erläutern sollen welches Wetter ich katastrophal finde:
Schnee, der schon mal angeschmolzen ist (Du läufst nicht, du rutscht)
Regen über einer gewissen Stärke (Es gibt gute Regenjacken, das stimmt, aber ab einer gewissen Wasserdichte schwämmst du die beim joggen auch einfach nur noch von innen auf und bist trotzdem pitschnass)
Wenns früh dunkel wird ist draußen alleine laufen nix, und wenn die Sonne knallt auch nicht - wenn man mit dem Auto eh zur Arbeit fährt, wieso nicht aufm Heimweg damit am Gym halten?
Kommt halt echt drauf an wo man wohnt. Und wie viele gehen direkt nach dem Laufband duschen und fahren nach Hause? Es ist relativ normal, ein Workout mit Cardio anzufangen und danach Gewichte zu heben.
