Getting the order right is not an exact science. It's more of an UART.

I’m showing my age here, but that’s likely dvi, and not serial.
9pin is much smaller and 25pin is significantly larger.
But despite my pedantic statement, the joke still stands. Well played.

- DVI-D uses TMDS, which is a serial protocol. So if you want to be really pedantic you could call it a serial port even though it's not RS232.

- Looks a heck of a lot like the RS-485 serial cable I've got on my desk right now. Scale is hard to tell, not sure how big that bowl is.

I prefer Parallel Puffs
- I've upgraded all of my bowls to Universal Serial Bowls (the C connector is specifically for cereal).
- It's up to you for your choice of connector, though it would be drier than usual
