Not OC
Don't do that! Milk is conductive. This could make you a serial killer!
121ReplyOr you would have a firewire 🤷🏽♂️

Getting the order right is not an exact science. It's more of an UART.
81ReplyI can't think of a pun good enough to respond with, good job
22ReplyYou people need to stop bit with the puns.

I’m showing my age here, but that’s likely dvi, and not serial.
9pin is much smaller and 25pin is significantly larger.
But despite my pedantic statement, the joke still stands. Well played.
68ReplyOh christ, DVI is old now.
38ReplyWe're pretty much at the point where 2.5" SSDs are old...
18Reply
Shhhh it's just a different flavor of cereal
21ReplyMmmmmm fruity loops of wire
16ReplyOh god, I needed to read this comment to actually understand the joke of the post.

DVI-D uses TMDS, which is a serial protocol. So if you want to be really pedantic you could call it a serial port even though it's not RS232.
17ReplyFair! Neat fact!
13Reply
Yeah it's clearly a D-Sub connector, I'll allow the meme, the joke's funny.
9ReplyLooks a heck of a lot like the RS-485 serial cable I've got on my desk right now. Scale is hard to tell, not sure how big that bowl is.
9ReplyI thought the same when I saw it. That's not a DB-9. Harumph!
1Reply
Fun fact: That's not real milk. It's just Elmer's glue, they use it to stage the perfect shot.
65ReplyFood marketing is fascinating
32ReplyYou ever seen the microwaved tampon trick?
9Reply
I think it is extremely controverserial.
35Reply...I should've thought of that
9ReplyI don't think so.
1Reply
The milk, the serial needs something to plug in
24ReplyTrue, but what if there isn't enough milk to plug into? Or what if you have too much milk?
8ReplyIt will never be too much milk
12Reply
Depends. Does the milk come from universal serial boobs?
22Replyh u h
11Reply
I prefer Parallel Puffs
20ReplyI've upgraded all of my bowls to Universal Serial Bowls (the C connector is specifically for cereal).
13ReplyIt's up to you for your choice of connector, though it would be drier than usual
7Reply
Put them in whatever order you like.
The bowl goes last.
18Reply...or does it?
Veritasium music starts playing
5ReplyYes it does, and I will die fighting on this hill.
2ReplyVSauce*
1Reply
I generally put the Serial in first, as its very reliable.
14ReplyGood choice! I do the same
7Reply
RS-23ewwwww
11ReplyThen it's a snack (I think?)
6Reply
Gotta take a waterfall approach
7ReplyWhat's the bitrate of the milk?
7Reply.02
5Reply
Serial first, milk second.
4ReplyGood... good
1Reply
Excuse me but I'm married and feed both of us - I do it in parallel.
