Chinese pop music?
Chinese pop music?
Does this exist?
We have jpop and kpop, where is the cpop? The only things I can find through lazy searching are from a decade ago.
It exists and is usually broken out into at least 2 kinds MandoPop for mainland china mandarin and CantoPop for Cantonese from Southern China
23ReplyHad a bunch of buddies into Jay Chou but I think that falls in the 20 years ago category.

Yes, they do exist. Here's one such song 寄明月 (Send to the Bright Moon) by SING (Super Impassioned Net Generation).
Then there's also this other song popular for sounding similar to the "n-word" -【Sunshine, Rainbow, White pony】 by Wowkie Zhang.
26ReplyThank you for this!

2ReplyYou have K-Pop, but Chinese pop doesn't exist. Chinese rap (crap) exists though.
Edit: joke. Korean pop- k-pop. Chinese rap - c-rap. I don't actually think Chinese rap is crap.
-9Reply"iTs cRap" - yeah no, I'll let people be the judge of it - Factory by Zhang Fangzhao.
1ReplyIt's a joke. Chinese rap. C-rap. Crap. I haven't listened to it before.
