What chewing gum/candy do you feel like is truly long lasting?
I've just been into gum lately and a lot feel like they don't taste good any longer than a jaw breaker would.
What are your top picks?
Definitely NOT Fruit Stripe. Holy fuck that shit lost flavor within 3 chomps.

I don't know why, but literally zero brands seem to be able to make cinnamon flavor last. For mint flavors, Extra seems to be incredibly long lasting imo. But they can't get the damn cinnamon right either. Why can no one get long lasting cinnamon???

6I remember 5 and Stride roughly appearing on shelves at the same time. Stride always advertised as being long lasting, while 5 had those weird "sensation" ads.
5 was, and continues to be, the longest lasting gum I've ever had. Sometimes I am tired of chewing the shit and it still has flavor.
Meanwhile Stride barely lasts longer the Zebra Stripe and Zebra Stripe has always had the least lasting flavor of any gum I can remember.
6My advise, stay away from long lasting candies like jaw breakers on a regular basis, the slow trickle of sugar all day will wreck havok on your teeth.
That being said, I find Extra or Five gum lasts quite long.
