If anybody's ever thought I'm giving the McPeake people a hard time and shouldn't call them incompetent reject tradies:
That wood at the bottom had rotted out, so he came to 'fix' it by putting a triangular piece of wood there. He put a fucking nail through the window.
I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE WAS HERE! HE CAME AND "FIXED" THE WINDOW WITHOUT TELLING ME!! THEN HE RAN AWAY AFTER BREAKING THE WINDOW!!!! (I have it on camera, it was 100% without a doubt him!)

Just watched one where the "QC PASSED" sticker went on the appliance before it was even fully assembled. Gotta love it.
8I’m making friends with the maggies that come here, letting them see my face and dropping a few little treats.
Sometimes I throw a few pieces of high quality dry cat food (nutritionally complete, high protein and grain free). I had some dried mealworms but unsure where they are. Today I threw some small whole dried fish.
I don’t give bread or mince, being aware of calcium deficiencies or food getting stuck on beaks. And I don’t give it frequently or in excessive quantities

7Last picture of the lonny dog beach fence :( That's all that's left was a good 500m back in the day it's about 4m now last few weeks was the nail in the coffin. God speed fence you didn't really serve a purpose but you existed.

5Window fixed, or rather, secured
He initially just put some cardboard and duct tape over it, but then noticed some more major cracks running up the window so suggested that he could board it up as it might be a few weeks until a glazier comes to replace it.
I called emergency maintenance, because it does qualify as an emergency repair (even though he came to "fix" it on Wednesday and I just didn't notice...). And the bloke who fixed it was from... Drumroll... McPeake!
He was actually pretty chill though, called the bloke an idiot, and said that he absolutely should not have even come to "fix" it without notifying anyone. Technically he did notify me, he said on Tuesday he'd come by the next day to fix it. But he still should've knocked, and he absolutely should not have just tried to do a runner after breaking the window. Tosser.

Made my burger and ate it.
Super messy affair. The bottom half of the burger bun literally disintegrated in my hands and had to turn it upside down just to keep it together.
Need to figure out how to stop it from disintegrating like that.
Also more cooking time needed for Patties. Maybe 2 more mins and higher temp.

3Tv Review. The Stand, series by Stephen King.
I found it tiresome.
But it was a really good retelling of Bible style stories, Daniel I think, that revelations stuff. Huge cataclysmic events, the world is changed , the story is about everyday people and their everyday lives and how special and important they are plus some true believers and supernatural stuff thrown in. There were no "heroes" per se. So for me it was an exercise in writing. I expect for true believin' Americans they would love that stuff.
2 hobbits. The scenery was pretty and it had some nice effects. - .5 hobbits for whoopi. She was for all the boomers who thought she was great in Ghost.
3TL:DWTTTS: yesterday I was asleep, my phone was in do not disturb mode, and I had the gate closed (because I was asleep) and was expecting one delivery at about 6pm. Then 2 rocked up around 8:30-9.
Alexa woke me up at 9 to tell me that I had a delivery coming today, so I opened the gate in case they came early and went back to sleep. Then properly got up at 11. The Amazon and Bunnings came at 8:47 and 8:55
