It’s fun when it’s a perspective. It’s not fun as a gimmick like, if the whole story can’t be trusted.

NGL, I've read some stories with unreliable narrators that turned out to be a huge waste of time in the end, too.

I stopped watching Mr. Robot in like season 2 for this reason. Loved the concept, but sheesh. I know it's not a book, but I just can't take it.
