Et Madspørgsmål -- Hestebønne

Are hestebønner (Vicia faba) ever eaten i Danmark? If so, are they very popular. Is it considered a traditional dansk food?

Yes they're eaten in Denmark, not particularly poplar I would say (could just be my own bias), wouldn't call them traditional danish food either.

  We cook them in a pan with butter and parsley. Not for long, just until they're saturated green. It tastes really good.

I have honestly never heard about them. Maybe they're a regional thing?
