I am going to miss you, wefwef.
I don't use Voyager, but I would imagine that the SEO would be much better if the app was temporarily called "Voyager (formerly wefwef)"
That way people not on Lemmy will hear about wefwef and stumble onto Voyager correctly.
1It will take a while for the app to ‘climb’ the search result ranks (doesn’t help that ‘wefwef’ was a lot more unique of a name than Voyager, but we’ll get there 💪).
1I am still a bit miffed the name was changed at all, I liked the uniqueness of wefwef. The new one feels very generic in comparison

I still keep icon name “wefwef” as memento
1The install program calls it Vger.app so I renamed it on my phone Vger in homage to the old Star Trek episode. Seems like a better name anyway.
