I can't believe no one's mentioned the solar eclipse today
The Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, annular solar eclipse will cross North, Central, and South America. It will be visible in parts of the United States, Mexico, and many countries in South and Central America.
It's this Saturday. It's going to cut through the US, part of Central America, and South America.
It's not a lunar eclipse, it's an annular solar eclipse.
Not as exciting as a regular solar eclipse. The moon is in a farther position of its orbit to not be able to fully cover the sun.

13ReplyI don't know, annular is different so there is that.
I've seen full eclipses, (probably 3 or 4 since I was little), this will be my first annular. I jubhappen to live where it'll pass.
5ReplyD'oh! In my defense I was really tired when I wrote that.
