Ooh, the world's biggest douche is attending, too (Elon).
26ReplyI was wondering who would host him, looked like Merc?
6ReplyMerc had prince Harry. Would be shocked if they had multiple high profile guests. Just from a logistics - must be nightmare being concerned for multiple ones.
4Reply
biggest douche at a douchebag convention? NAW!
really all this go fast turn left bullshit is hilarious. the world is on fire. climate scientists are running out of hyperbolic words to describe it.
and there are always some fucks that are like, hell yeah, let's burn gas faster! to race around in squiggly circles!
and you fuckwits just eat it all up.
-2ReplyYou're talking about nascar, buddy. Anyways, it really is time to take your meds now.
2Reply
Please no talking, I'm braking
20ReplyHe really can't stress that enough!
8ReplyThe last one was bad.
6Reply
Iโve used that twice today with my wife - also an F1 fan. When she asks me something I just go โno talking Iโm brakingโ and she gets super mad.
4Reply
Norris leading driver of the day for losing a place vs someone who gained 5 spots to win is so weird.
16Replypeople were hoping he could perhaps score his first win
8Reply
"Hey, Leclerc, how do you feel about plan E, G, H and I?"
12ReplyBrundle: "Ferrari with a whole filing cabinet of plans, again..".
7ReplyBut wait, now the cars will race eachother.
Edit: wow, they acted reasonable this time.
3Reply
Traditions.
5ReplyIt seemed like Ferrari had started being competent with their strategy. But this race seems to be showing that they've still got a few mistakes up their sleeves.
They shouldn't have left Leclerc out there.
5ReplyWhen basically their chances of a podium were gone. Too little too late.
4Reply
Mercedes have messed this up.
Lewis is losing time hand over fist on these tyres, and they will lose time hand over fist on the last few laps of a hard tyre.
They gonna lose way more than a pitstop.
Don't understand why they have committed to the strategy with both cars
10Replyon TV they are acting like its the counter-max strategy, but they should be worrying more about Ferrari and the constructors, not worrying about chasing the pink elephant that is Max
5ReplyTHIS is why I'm not a DS :D
4ReplyWho is more screwed though Mercedes or McLaren? They both seem to have gone all in on the hards.
2ReplyMcClaren will pit again I think, they didn't really have the tyres to put Norris on anything but hards for this stint
3Reply
Hehe, "he just needs to follow Max, so he'll be fine".
Horner on Perez's chances in the race.
8ReplyClose one there towards the end. Two more laps and Hamilton would've had it.
8ReplyNice to see Ricciardo still on the same form as before.
7ReplyCheco will sleep a little easier tonight
10ReplyYeap, and Lawson rubbing his hands together, with an ominous look on his face.
9Reply
First race back, limited practice time, bad strategy. He's got a lot to prove, but it's a bit harsh to judge him on this race.
3Reply
So, how many laps before Max is back on P1?
My money is on 10. Just to be cautious, he'll lose a place or 2 at the start, and then he'll start overtaking about one car per lap.
6ReplyIt should take at least a pit stop if he can even do it. Both Sainz and Russell should logically put everything in stopping Verstappen from overtaking to maximize the chances of their teammates.
Edit: well if the other drivers still think they don't need to race him he will win ofcourse. I don't get why Sainz wasn't defending a lot harder though.
2Reply
George: "Yup, I can make the tires last, I'll just make really wide turns, like I've been doing" /s
6ReplyBrewing to be a potentially interesting finish
6ReplyMusk now owes the broadcast team a horse after that sucking off they just gave him.
6ReplyAlonso up to 9th from a pit lane start. Great stuff. Whatever "upgrades" they brought on Friday were truly disastrous. Stroll up to 10th as well.
Hamilton slowly gaining on Norris. Will his tyres last till the end?
6ReplyNoooooo I jinxed Alonso :(
8ReplyWhy did you do this? :(
6Reply
That was a great race. Big 2021 reminder to me. I know max had issues and a bad quali, but it was exciting to see him have to work for this one
6ReplyFerrari strategists strike again, incredible
5ReplyDang Piastri retiring. Puts Ricciardo up in the points currently.
5ReplyNorris pitted? Wow.
Everyone else probably gonna pit as well.
5ReplyHey, at least red bull is actually being forced to react to other teams now!
4Reply
This seems like one of those times where Red Bull needed Perez to step up. Either by winning outright or by being a nuisance to the people chasing Verstappen.
5ReplyHas there been any hard tyre running this weekend? How good are the hards?
4ReplyNo running on the hards, I think? At least not enough to know how they'll hold up. Only one practice session, with focus on qualifying, and only mediums and softs were run in the sprint.
3ReplyIt will be interesting to see how long they can go on the hards then.
1Reply
A controversial question, is Hamilton backโโโ
4ReplyAbu Dhabi 2021 lurking from around the corner, looking to make a comeback...
2ReplyIt has Hamilton and Leclerc disqualified because their cars failed inspection.
2Reply
F1TV via Multiviewer acting up for anyone? I'm having all sorts of buffering and hiccuping.
3ReplyF1TV in general is acting up a bit. Lot of buffering going on. Seems better now, though.
8ReplyI switched to regular F1TV on the website. Almost missed the start due to buffering in Multiviewer!
2Reply
Normal F1TV streaming working normally. Replays over the weekend have been having weird buffering issues however.
2Reply
McLaren is keeping it interesting. Though I do wonder why he wouldn't be able to run faster if they knew he was going to pit.
I would think that if the hards can last, Hamilton can win now.
3ReplyExcellent start for both McLarens.
2ReplyI do wonder if Lando isn't shredding his tyres. Though it could also just be Ferrari doing Ferrari things and slowing eachother down.
2ReplyAppears to just be Ferrari being Ferrari. They're down to 3rd and 5th from 2nd and 3rd, and Max is gonna pounce on Leclerc soon.
4Reply
I loved that fan's reaction. I hope they came together.
2ReplyLooks like Hamilton will be able to turn this into a win if his pace can last.
2ReplyMax not lovin' his brakes. Still, starting to build a gap now.
2ReplyIs RIC still on his starting mediums?
1ReplyPitting as I posted
