In this economy?
Obviously something to get my mind off this economy.
E: refunded Mirror's Edge, it was running at like 5 FPS on low settings.
E2: picked up Mirror's Edge on GoG instead for the same price ($3). Disabled PhysX and it runs like a dream.

In the future try checking ProtonDB before buying/refunding. For Mirror's Edge in particular, it seems all you have to do is disable PhysX
.
ProtonDB is an amazing tool, everyone should check it out!
Nice. Well I happened to see it on sale on GoG and I prefer to buy from there anyway so I'll give it another try.
Gris is great. Small, but beautiful.
If anyone can afford it, I recommend the Neva + Gris bundle. Neva is even better, IMO.
Were there any physx settings turned on when running Mirror's Edge? It can bring a 5090 to it's knees due to removal of 32bit physx support. Great recent gamer's nexus video on it. Anyway, physx running on the CPU with Mirror's Edge kills fps
Yes. What do I do about that?
mirrors edge is a gem, and i played the whole thing on deck years ago, it ran flawlessly!
none, can't afford anything.
I've been eyeing Signals, Children of the Sun, Jusant, and Weird West for some time now. Maybe Floppy Knights and FAR Changing Tides too
Jusant is cool. Deck runs kinda loud but the gameplay is very enjoyable on controller.
They gave away Weird West on Epic a while ago. I checked it on Game Pass and had to quit it. The atmosphere is very good and overall looks interesting but the controls were awful for me to get used to. If you are going to get it I recommend checking it before the return window expires, just in case.
Thanks for the heads up! I'm a fan of the people behind it and follow the development closely so I'm kind of biased and know what I'm getting into haha
I told myself not to buy any games until KCD2 is out on GOG. But I am tempted
Helldivers 2, fingers crossed it runs decent
Well, does it?
Helldivers 2 runs great on my Steam Deck LCD. Great game.
I bought Dredge and Nine Sols!
Dredge is great.
Both are terrific
I've stopped buying from Steam on account of their country threatening to annex mine. GOG is looking good though.
What brand is your phone ? Computer ? Underwear ?
In case you're wondering, the correct response was:
I'm sorry. My country is overrun with fascists and Nazis and I'm horrified by the threats to your nation's sovereignty that manchild of a president is making. He does not speak for me, and I appreciate that you would decide not to spend money in a country that's actively threatening your family.
You know, for the next time you feel the urge to defend a government that demonstrably doesn't care about you or anyone else.
Great, whataboutism. Your argument is stupid. Get a better one.
If you already have these things, you make no stance by throwing them away.
It's never too late to start change.
Probably Zomboid, been eyeing it for a while. And maybe Heavy Rain, at €2 it’s very tempting.
Not enough college financial aid left for me to be able to, otherwise I'd have to look at my wishlist and see what's available for a good price.
i have a lot to get but i recently surprise bought blobun just because of this > https://www.polygon.com/gaming/538959/blobun-lesbian-toggle-steam-lgbtq-option-setting
I got Warplanes Air Corp and also Battle over the Pacific. And Dragon Age Veilguard.
However, lol, the servers must be a little overloaded, it’s downloading at dozens of megabits and, running a speed test at the same time gave me over 700 so yeah. It’ll take some patience XD
Finally gonna pull the trigger on the dead space remake.
Also waiting for The Last of Us Part 1, Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Raganarok to go below $25 because I still have a handful of other games to finish and start.
Yeah, I have a pretty good list of Sony games I'm just waiting on better sales on.
Like the first Spiderman should really be selling for cheaper now that both Miles and 2 are out.
Picked up Thank Goodness You're Here and currently trying to see if I can get Wanderstop running well.
Thank goodness you're here is so good!
Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Dead Cells already bought.
I bought Station to Station, a nice peaceful train simulation game.
Aestik it's been on my wishlist for awhile and I don't see a reason not to pick it up at the current sale price.
I bought Mad Max because I originally played it when it was on Game Pass years ago and would like to do another run.
For the Deck specifically I got Art of Rally, Rogue Legacy 2, and Deep Rock Survivor. I've been playing a lot of Deep Rock Survivor.
