Really happy with how much support this game got. Wasn’t expecting for them to add so many new modes, items, courses, and characters since the original Wii U launch all the way back in 2014.

-14The DLC added 48 tracks. The Average Mario Kart game has 36 tracks. They also added 8 new characters. They added a whole game worth of content in the DLC. The DLC is Mario Kart 9.
34What exactly would a new Mario kart even get you? Each one is more or less the exact same game with a few new tracks - personally I prefer getting so many new tracks on 8 vs a new title

We will probably get Mario Kart 9 with the next iteration of the console. Other than the games already announced, if we get anything else, it would probably be some other remake, maybe Metroid Prime 2 remake or something.
