Police said they were searching for a man who allegedly hid large Easter eggs across his city containing marijuana, then posted clues on how to find them.

In true Easter Egg Hunt fashion, one egg was not recovered until someone's grandchild randomly found it a day later.

"The suspect posted four photos on Facebook showing each location as hints to locate the eggs," the release said. "He also posted a photo of five plastic eggs in the seat of a vehicle. Officers found four eggs and believed he had not placed the fifth."
Officers learned they were incorrect in their assumption when a man and his granddaughter turned the final egg into the department the next day, having also found it in a park, per the release. In total, officers said they recovered over a quarter of an ounce of marijuana

This kept a bunch of cops busy looking for eggs. States like Florida have a bunch of cops looking for migrants to arrest and deport.
Not saying anyone should do this. It would be an interesting experiment to see what would happen if a bunch of people posted clues to Easter eggs that might contain drugs or maybe just a pretty little flower.
That would be great. Use a bunch of weed slang, bud, flower, sticky-icky, and then the eggs only contain lavender and chewing gum.

Oh man. A friend of mine from back when I was at University (30+ years ago) thought it would be a great idea to have a weed planting day. Everyone goes out to any public area that gets enough water through rain or watering, and just plants weed everywhere. I still think it would be funny to pull off.

Yep, it would need to be decarbed (a process that a child can't do unless they explicitly look it up) and then ate with a fat to bind it for the liver.
