Pocketpair has announced that Palworld will be making another controversial change to the game due to the company's ongoing legal battle with Nintendo.
Would be cool if Nintendo just made games instead of being a patent troll that rereleases the same 10 games over and over again.

I really hope that Pocketpair wins their case against Nintendo. It's pretty ridiculous that game mechanics as generic as using a creature for a glider are somehow able to be patented by Nintendo.
I don’t think it would work in a non-Japan jurisdiction. It’s stupid AF. I’m pretty sure they didn’t even file some of the patents until after Palworld released.
I think the patents were technically filed before the release, but they weren't approved until after the release.
