61It's called skytyping. It's more expensive than regular skywriting because it needs 5 planes but it's easier to read.

0If it's a half hour job, 5 planes x $200/hr (conservatively high) x 1/2 hour = maybe $500... And very likely by the company that owns them to get people to talk about it.
Actually a really cheap ad in that case. I'd rather something funny in the sky than yet another annoying ad (costing way more wasted money) on TV...

5Most of them are 5 planes. But you could do this with one plane "printing" out 5 rows of clouds. It could be a drone printing them out very close, or a manned plane further away.
It could also be photoshop.
