Clearly they invaded California for their strategic reserve of almonds. I wish that was more of a joke than it is given how many places we've actually messed with for the sake of some random luxury produce.

  After Jan I said we'd have national guard in progressive strongholds within 2 years. Didn't think they'd go only months later. Oh well, down seems to be the only way to get to up from our current predicament and the fast we hit bottom and more folks experience pain, the sooner we can grow collective values that bind us together again and take the reins back. Hope the fog clears again in my lifetime.

there's beaucoups of oil in the Usa
- In LA even. Don't remember where I read it, but did read an article that there are tones of oil dereks in LA, but they all have a facade on the outside to make it look like a normal building.
  The La Brea tar pits are a type of hydrocarbon after all.
  
  Yeah California and Texas actually have the oil industry behind all their bullshit posturing about economic ideologies.
