Jamie says you need a before picture
28ReplyI didn’t take a before picture cause it looked gross

I can't figure out how the stuff is such a good cleaner. I've yet to make a mess it can't clean up on a flattop.
7ReplyMicro-abrasive particles. Pretty much works like fine grain sandpaper. Pretty much the same principle as Magic Eraser.
14ReplyThere are lots of abrasive cleaning solutions that don't work as well. It's the combination of micro-abrasiaves, a surfactant, and oxalic acid.

Shits so good it's used to clean sources on mass specs
7ReplyNow do your cast iron.
5ReplyBite your tongue heathen.
10Reply#LookOfDisapproval! Lol!

Makes my sink look brand new
4ReplyIt’s the shit
4ReplyThat shit is magic. I always have some in the house.
4ReplyBKF is so unbelievably satisfying to use.
2ReplyNow you have to re-season your pan
2ReplyWhen cooking with stainless, you’re almost always adding oil or butter before any other ingredient. It’s a waste of time to preseason the those pans.

Any advice on what not to use this stuff on? I only use it on my sink at the moment because I'm afraid of scratching anything else.
2ReplyWell stainless steel pans for one. Baking sheets that have a bunch of shit baked on to them. I cleaned off my stock pot as well with it. The bottom of any pot or pan that has a bunch of blackened crud on it.

I'm right there with you, bud. Barkeeper's Friend is the true "special sauce" in a clean and tidy kitchen. Pair it with some All-Clad, and your seriously set for life.
2ReplyThat stuff is seriously no joke. I usually let man pans sit for 10 or 15 minutes with the stuff on it and then bam it comes right off.
2ReplyShiny! Looking good.
1ReplyFun fact for anybody with a septic system like me, this is septic safe unlike any of the offbrand versions I looked up. Which is great because this stuff just seems to work better than the rest. Win win!
1ReplyI think I’m on the market for bar keepers friend.
1ReplyIf you've got stainless pans you need to clean there's legitimately nothing better
8ReplyAll of my pans are stainless. And despite having heard many good things about that, I've never actually bought any.
2Reply
Hell yeah you did. Which type did you buy? The powder or the liquid spray?
1ReplyI didn’t even know there was a spray brb gotta go get some
1Reply
It's great on my porcelain sink and I just got my grilling vegetable rack cleaner than it has been in years.
For certain tasks, it is awesome.
I bought both the liquid and powder. I'm using the liquid more, not sure why.
