Easiest way to root Huawei P30 on Linux?

I really want to install a custom ROM. Any good ROM recommendations while we're at it?

Should be privacy focused of course, but mostly I need something that 'just works'

  • Aren't Huawei bootloaders locked?

    • You're right. Goddammit. At least I didn't pay for this phone.

      Oh well, time to research which smartphone companies use the least amount of child slaves.

      • You can unlock the bootloaders on Xiaomi phones. Just be aware that not all have custom ROM support. Mainly those using Qualcomm SOCs have some support.
