They should build a foldable one with an attached display, a mouse pad and a battery. It would be a complete, but portable workstation! Wouldn't that be nice?

  A raspberry laptop would be really nice. Like a laptop that allowed every component to be replaced continuously. Need more computing power? Change the pi board for a newer one. Broken screen? Change it. Battery gone bad? Replace it.
  It would be like the the Theseus ship!
  Also fully repairable and more environmental friendly
Trying to think through a use case for this… just for tinkering around?

  It makes you look like a person who'd buy a Pi 500+. Which is ironic, because I see one such person every day when I look in the mirror and I don't have a Pi 500+.
  
  Unfortunately, I am not cool enough to have a Pi 500+.
- I bought the 400 version of this device for like $100 as my son’s first computer. I think he was 6 when I gave it to him. Of course now we have upgraded him to a Mac mini as he needed a more capable machine now that he has gotten interested in 3d modeling. It’s a good little machine for the right use case.
- Back in the days I had a RPi2B(!) linked to the living room TV for browsing the web. I'm really thinking of buying a 500+, as I do have use cases. I could use a remote desktop on it to display maps on the big screen from my laptop for D&D gaming, for example.
  
  Ya know, I do love the idea of having a convenient little keyboard that’s connected to the tv. Put that bad boy right next to the couch and hook a chrome cast up to it and it’d be golden. Really cool idea!
- I guess that if you have a usb-c monitor in multiple locations, you can just carry a keyboard and mouse....
  Cool, but not sure if it's useful. Someone will buy it though.
  
  Everything I can think of would be better served by a laptop or a mini PC.
  
  It doesnt support USBC video output so its a really lame device imo. I just want a single cable solution ffs, why are there so few SBCs that do this.
Are the switches hot swapable?
I dont like how spilling your coffee/beer will break the keyboard and the computer.. woulld be better off mounting a pi on the monitor....
Will it be upgradeable with newer boards? because if not, nope. boards can be repurposed for lighter tasks when they are superseeded, but in this case the large format is a very limiting factor.
