I’m a human with half a brain: everything Trump says is a fire hose of misinformation.
I believed him when he said he'd fuck date his daughter.
To the surprise of absolutely no one with critical faculties in working order.
Of course it was. Don’t need to be scientist to understand that
Trump’s U.N. address is a fire hose of misinformation
I'm not a scientist, but I'm about sure everything this asshole said was wrong. I don't think Trump ever said anything truthful. Maybe that he wants to be a dictator.
That's just inaccurate... Trump said a couple of earnest Truths! Like: "He's the president"... technically true. And also, "America is really a hot country now" though that slides in under He's only correct because of global warming... which he, uhh, denies... but still TECHNICALLY true.
Now, everything else that leaks out of face-anus is lying bullshit... but still.
Oh, he does say truthful things occasionally. Like "I don't stand by anything", "I love the poorly educated" or "I'm going to be a dictator on day one".
His latest was, "smart people don't like me."
No one the misinformation would work on is watching UN climate speeches.
Are we not past the point where we need to fact-check if Trump said something truthful about climate change (or anything else for that matter)?
I don’t think you need to be a scientist to know anything that administration wants to be “facts” is in fact bullshit.
Not everyone hears this sort of thing.
Had a lady I was helping at Lowe's comment on the weather. She was lightly questioning, partly stating, that the weather was weird, but just a normal variation. Which can be true!
Asked her to remember the snowfall last winter (that was 3 minutes), record for Florida, and our town scored that record. I was in it, it was wild.
"That was a massive bolus of hot air from the other side of the planet hit the polar vortex, sent that freezing air down here from Canada. That's climate change, and it ain't normal, not over human lifetimes."
About exactly what I said, and she was a bit taken aback. Again, she was kinda questioning, feeling out another opinion. LOL, didn't expect the guy loading bags of soil in her SUV to talk like that. I know, "And everyone clapped!" That quote was best I can remember, and she was taken aback, could see her gears turning.
Talking to people is like mastering tech support. Talking over your listener? You've shamed them. Talking under them? You treated them a fool. You gotta meet them on their level.
Environmental degradation is very real, the Earth is not bigger than the problems we cause. In a lot of ways I think focusing so much on climate change has forced issues like water and air pollution to take back stage. Everyone seems fine with destroying our environment while either paying lip service to climate change or denying it exists.
I'm internally crying and screaming and raging. I am so fucking scared. And no one even notices.
Do we still have to call it misinformation? Can't we just call it lies?
