Fine, shut it down. Your threats mean very little at this point. The US government is barely fucking working anyway. And they are already hurting everyone so what’s some more pain?
Let’s watch the rich squirm when their slave labor money machine falters.

He's pushing enormous cuts across the board, with gender care just being the wedge issue the reactionaries want to fight over.
Dems spent the last year blaming civil rights activists for their defeat in '24. So the GOP thinks it can smuggle in a multi billion dollar privatization scheme and some staggering medicaid cuts by screaming Trans-Panic slogans at any Liberal who resists.
He will do that regardless. How is that a threat?
The wealthy, "We are going to shutdown the government that we need to control everything."

At this point I just hope the government in shutdown does less permanent damage.
