I'm looking for something that I can do with my phone that would be at least "semi-passively productive", any suggestions?

I wasn't sure how to word the title but what I mean by "semi-passively productive" is something that I can have running on the phone that requires little to no interaction and is in some way beneficial to me.

What I've been doing is just using a website called Musio (one of the sister sites of Hideout TV), which is a website where you can earn points by watching videos and redeem those points for gift cards. While the amount of points I've been earning has been significantly lower than it used to be, I have other reasons why I'm looking for potential alternatives, whether it be another website or an app. It doesn't have to be a "beer money" site/app either, it's just that I'm not sure of what else there could be. The only requirement that I have is that it can work on older android devices.

Also, yes I'm aware of r/beermoney on Reddit but I don't have a Reddit account anymore and it seems like some of the posts that the wiki on r/beermoney linked to have been deleted.

  • I'm going to be honest with you, apart from Google Rewards amounting to the price of one icon pack or simple paid app from time to time... all these voucher/points websites are not worth your time.

A decade ago there were some legit ones, though arguably the time invested never really was worth the prizes. But nowadays? Every single one is either a complete scam, or they're paying you soo little you'd be better going Upwork to translate some documents, write some marketing material or help somebody edit a picture.

    • Yeah, I'm aware of the fact that passive beer money sites and apps aren't has good as they used to be. I don't care if I'm only earning around $10 a year, I don't currently have anything else I can do with the phone.

Also, I have been using Google Rewards, that's how I've been able to purchase most of the android apps I've purchased over the past few years. The rest came from either the random coupons that Google gives (which I've never known why they give them to me) and the points I've stocked up over the years from filing out surveys on InstaGC.

  • I’d like to lean in a different direction, educational games.

Duolingo is basically a game to my brain and doesn’t take too much effort. In the end I probably won’t be fluent in any language this way, but it’s interesting enough just getting the basic grasps of syntax in other languages and expanding my vocabulary to a degree

    • How passive is Duolingo? Basically what I'm looking for is something I can have running on my phone while I'm playing games on either my computer or another android device and, at most, occasionally press a button on the phone to skip an ad or answer a question. If it's something that requires more attention, it may not be what I'm looking for.

      • Definitely not as passive as you want, more passive in the same was as browsing reddit on the toilet
