But in all seriousness, it's probably for the best. Guillermo story got so ridiculously tedious and overplayed.

I've actually warmed up to it a lot. I love the colorful, wacky direction they've taken it. It feels a little more Addams Family than the movie, and I think it's great. I love that every episode has them doing some wild thing you've never seen before. Chasing witches on brooms. Chatting with gossipy gargoyles. It's just fun!

3He's just reborn as a baby, it's complicated. Don't let it discourage you the show is very very funny.
I won't spoil anything but most of the story arcs are wrapping up and I'd prefer they go out on a high note as well. I'm glad they're getting one last season to tie up any loose ends.
For anyone that hasn't seen it there's a prequel movie of the same name made by the same people that's equally hilarious as the show and pretty much unrelated.

3I lost interest after the first 2 seasons, which were really good. After that it seems they were grasping for ideas
2I felt similar at the start of S3 but by the end I was hooked again. In fact, I thought when Jemaine left the writing team it couldn't possibly be as good but I have to say the writing held up.
