South Park: Snow Day!, the upcoming 3D co-op game in the iconic South Park franchise, is slated to launch for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on
I may be a bit of an old man now, but something about the Southpark games just really speaks to me. I haven't been keeping up on the show anymore. But I really enjoyed stick of truth and fractured but whole. I may have missed some individual references, but there was more than enough stuff that I was familiar with. And while the mechanics aren't a masterpiece, they hold up well enough to not get in the way through the whole game.
It is of course mostly about inside jokes and references, but there is plenty new content too.
The trailer isn't quite enough for me to be sure what game style they are aping on this time, but I'm looking forward to it. Sort of sounds like they might be going arpg this time, but the card elements threw me a bit. I guess I'll see when more details are known.
17Honestly the new seasons and specials are great. If recommend watching season 18 onward, but the real meaty stuff comes around in about season 20 or so.
4Yeah, I have caught a few episodes here and there. Unfortunately adulting gets in the way of alot of that sort of stuff nowadays. I have alot less free time, and there is just so much stuff to try to pack into it. Can only do like 1% of the stuff I want to do.

I've never watched south park and I very much enjoyed the games, the humor is fantastic
1It’s a $30 release brand new. Don’t get your hopes up, they’re shoving this one out the door and moving on. Budget price, ugly 3D & multiplayer only, feels like a mobile title that got upgraded to a console release at the last minute, or something they couldn’t figure out how to monetize as a freemium game so they just ported it up to try and milk any value out of it that they can.
Really would have loved a proper next game following SoT and TFBW, those are two of my favourite titles. I get why they wanted to do something else, but they couldn’t have designed a more underwhelming follow up that has no crossover with the audience for the first two games.
0Ah, that's fair. It did seem like they were very specifically not showing any standard gameplay. Figured it was intended to be more of a teaser than a trailer... but your thing makes more sense.
I'll probably still try it, unless it looks or sounds worse by then. I don't pre-order stuff, so I'll see the reviews before I buy.
