I agree. Along with supporting public education, environmental laws, levels of taxation based on means, and sensible regulation for the free market. Sure I would like universal basic income but im voting for who is closest to what I want. Im going to tear out my eye to spite my face.

I'm guessing the alternative to "vote blue no matter who" is somewhere between "boycott the vote" and "burn the motherfucker to the ground."

The alternative isn't to vote for someone other than the democrat. It's to not vote.

My take to other U.S. voters: please vote blue. It's fucked, but it's less fucked than voting for Trump or not voting.

I keep hoping one day both our major parties will go the way of the Whigs, but for now it's Democrats, but it really sucks that's how it is

I feel half of this kind of thing is the right trying to convince people that left canidates aren't perfect so they should not vote or better yet vote right as a spoiler. yeah. that will show them. its like a pervy guy trying to convince some married woman who is upset with her husband that the perfect way to get him back is by sleeping with him.

You should be doing that and still voting. They aren't mutually exclusive activities.
