26Yeah.. it is pretty sad. I have always heard that even though they took over MacDonald Douglass, in reality it was MacDonald Douglass's corporate culture that took them over. Moving them from a company focused on engineering to one focused on the bottom line.

Let’s hold off blaming Boeing until we know what happened. I’ve read over at airliners.net that the pressurization issues only started after Alaska added their wifi system. It could very well be Alaska Air is to blame.

4Well seeing that the plane was 2 or 3 months old and Boeing has had a long list of quality control, cost cutting and short cutting over the last 10ish years. I feel it is Boeing court to prove that they are not at fault.
Boeing was one of the great American companies. They had the best reputation in the world, and they have squandered it for dividends.
