You're kidding, but you're not wrong. I worked for Whole Foods pre-Amazon and the number of people who returned eggs or flagged me down upon finding a feather was concerning.

Am American, my fridge is packed with unwashed eggs. You just can't buy them at the store here. Fortunately my pets poop breakfast.
