The Empty Adderall Factory: The DEA's shutdown of Ascent Pharmaceuticals is exacerbating the ADHD meds crisis — at a rate of 600 million missing doses a year
I don't know anything and can't prove anything, but it sure is easy for me to imagine that DEA officials who would be willing to help that along by shutting down manufacturers who didn't play by this cartel's rules would make a lot of wealthy friends who would be motivated to take care of those officials somehow
Seems like run of the mill corporate price gouging to me. And they'll get away with it because most people don't think ADHD is a 'real' disorder. No way there'd be an insulin shortage for a year and a half.
Corporation can't follow the law to the point that the DEA, which loves nothing more than looking the other way on the legal drug pushers, needs to finally step in and do something.
Corporate media response: Why would the DEA do this?!?
