I was having a really hard time 3-4 years ago, I wasn't suicidal but I was really unhappy and felt like shit all the time. Got on some meds, started running, met a woman, got married, got a big promotion, and had a kid since then. I'm in such a better place than I was back then, and I felt like my life had no meaning and I was going to be alone forever. Don't give up, get help, focus on yourself build good habits, exercise, eating healthy, thinking good thoughts, then worry about external relationships.

Go for lots of long walks, get some counseling.

I think she was the awful human being, and you didn't owe your parents shit, especially toxic ones. Just because your parents brought you into the world (without your consent) doesn't mean you have to put up with them.
